Sadolin WeatherGuard EXTREME is a super quality Pure Acrylic Emulsion paint. Because of its unique formulation, WeatherGuard EXTREME provides maximum protection to all buildings at any altitude. Its satin-smooth finish makes it ideal for interior as well as exterior application. WeatherGuard EXTREME is very suitable for wet rooms like kitchens and bathrooms, and heavily trafficked areas. It is easy to clean.
The exceptional quality of this product allows Sadolin to offer a Seven Year performance guarantee. This guarantee is conditional based on doing the correct suitable preparation and the recommended SPEAL products being used during the painting process.
WeatherGuard EXTREME is manufactured from 100% Pure Acrylic Resin, combined with special biocides and the finest quality light-fast pigments. This formulation provides exceptional resistance to extreme tropical weather and greatly retards attack by mould and algae. Available in pack sizes 4 litres & 20 litres. |

Brush, roller, conventional or airless spray. Thin with clean water.
NB: avoid overthinning as this affects hiding power. |
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of loose material. Apply 1 coat of Sadolin Acrylic Primer Sealer Undercoat followed with 2-3 coats of WeatherGuard EXTREME.
Use a nylon brush to remove loose and flaking material. Apply a liberal coat of Sadolin Sado Binder followed with 1 coat Sadolin Acrylic Primer Sealer Undercoat. Finish with 2 coats of WeatherGuard EXTREME.
Sand down to a sound base. Then apply two coats of Sadolin WeatherGuard EXTREME. Allow 4 hours between coats.
Apply one coat of Sadolin Fungicidal Wash. Leave for 5 hours then scrape off. NB: Burn scrapings off site).
Apply second coat of Sadolin Fungicidal Wash and leave for 24 hours. (NB: Do not scrape)
Apply 1 coat of Sado Binder followed with 1 coat of Sadolin Acrylic Primer Sealer Undercoat. Finish with 2 coats of WeatherGuard EXTREME.
Approximately 10-12m2 per litre, dependant on surface texture and porosity. (See table below)

Sadolin WeatherGuard EXTREME is made to the highest quality standards.
Provided application and surface preparation are carried out in accordance with the 'Instructions for use' as indicated on the tin, and this product's applied appearance deteriorates within seven years after purchase, Sadolin Paints will gladly replace it with an identical (unapplied) product free of charge.
Proof of purchase will be required. Human intervention by way of normal wear and tear or defacement, is not covered under the terms of this guarantee.
On previously painted surfaces, the Sadolin technical advisory service should be sort. Provided their recommendations are adhered to, the Guarantee will be validated.
Sadolin Paints does not incur any liability or obligation other than such replacement, nor will they be responsible for any remedial expenses and / or any consequential damage or loss.
The Guarantee period will terminate 7 years from the completed date of application. The Guarantee pertains only to the material supplied and does not cover any labour or other incidental costs/expenses.
The surface, prior to painting should be clean, free from oil greases, moisture and dirt (Refer Surface preparation for more details)
Any failure caused by faulty application or inadequate surface preparation or any other mechanical damage shall be outside the scope of the Guarantee. For the purpose of monitoring the Guarantee, one referral area can be painted under our supervision in the presence of contractor/consultant/client. The integrity of the paint finish on this referral area will be the basis for invoking this guarantee.
An area will not be considered defective, where the coating exhibits fading, staining discoloration or loss of gloss as long as effective protection of the substrate has been provided. Damages caused by accidents, misuse, mechanical damages, fire, pollution, malicious acts and through acts of nature will also not be considered within the scope of this guarantee.
The Guarantee provides for the repair of defective areas as follows: -

If any coating repairs are carried out in the interim period without prior reference to SPEAL the above Guarantee will not apply. The Guarantee covers repair of defective coated areas, if any, only if it exceeds 3% of the total coated surface and falling within the scope of this guarantee.
The supplied paint material should be stored in a secure, cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. The painting contractor should follow only good painting practice. Sadolin's liability in respect of defect or failure of material supplied, if any, is limited to making good replacement of defective material only.
